The municipality of Baalbek issued a decision prohibiting "Syrians from wandering near polling stations in the city of Baalbek throughout the election day, from 6 AM tomorrow, Sunday, until 6 AM on Monday, May 15, 2022." They called on citizens to "adhere to the guidelines of the municipal police to facilitate the voting process."
