Explosion of Gas Canisters at Night in Wadi Khaled

A fire broke out in a pickup truck loaded with gas canisters in the town of Majdel - Wadi Khaled in Akkar on Thursday night. Firefighting teams from the Wadi Khaled and Sharara centers, along with the Lebanese Red Cross, rushed to the scene and worked to extinguish the flames with the help of the local youth. Medical centers in the Upper Dreib area were put on alert and opened their doors in anticipation of any emergencies, while residents were evacuated from the area. The damages were limited to material losses, and the cause of the fire is still unknown.
