New United Coach: "Ronaldo's Nightmare"

New United Coach:

British media reports reveal that German Ralph Rangnick, who is poised to take over as manager of Manchester United, may put an end to Cristiano Ronaldo's career at the club. Rangnick is highly expected to replace Norwegian manager Ole Gunnar Solskjær, who was recently dismissed following a decline in the Red Devils' performance.

However, according to the "Express" newspaper, Rangnick's philosophy may not align with the abilities of the 36-year-old Ronaldo, who is struggling to maintain his physical fitness. The newspaper stated, "Rangnick's style relies on high pressing and tireless work to regain possession and maintain it, playing at a very fast pace over 90 minutes," a method that Ronaldo may fail to keep up with.

If a final agreement is reached between the club and the coach, the management will only have the option of providing him with players that fit his philosophy, which may lead to parting ways with stars like Ronaldo, who would likely not accept being benched for an extended period.

The "Express" mentioned that Chelsea striker Timo Werner would be a preferred option for Rangnick, should he officially join "Old Trafford." Rangnick is considered the influential "godfather" of top German coaches today, such as Jürgen Klopp of Liverpool, Thomas Tuchel of Chelsea, and Julian Nagelsmann of Bayern Munich, all of whom follow Rangnick's preferred style of attacking football and high pressing.

Rangnick’s main specialty is club management; he worked as the director of football at RB Leipzig for several years, leading the team from lower divisions to competing in the Bundesliga. Last summer, he signed a contract with Lokomotiv Moscow to serve as their sporting director and development director.
