Jordanian Foreign Minister Ayman Safadi emphasized that "we must work to prevent Lebanon from slipping into chaos, and the Syrian crisis must come to an end," considering that "the political track is the only way to achieve this."
During the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland, Safadi stated that "Lebanon is on the brink of collapse, and if that happens, we will all bear the security cost," adding that "Lebanon should not collapse" and that "it is up to the Lebanese themselves to repair the situation."
