Prime Minister Najib Mikati received a call from Minister of Interior and Municipalities Bassam Mawlawi, during which he was briefed on the details of the operation carried out by the Information Branch of the General Directorate of Internal Security Forces. This operation led to uncovering the circumstances surrounding the murder of the young man Hubert Fattal less than 24 hours after it occurred and the arrest of those involved. Mikati requested the Interior Minister to convey his greetings to the leadership of the security forces.
