Contrary to what is being circulated regarding President Michel Aoun's intention to extend his stay in the Baabda Palace even after the end of his term, Aoun confirmed to Western ambassadors that he will leave the palace at midnight on October 31 without any delay, regardless of the circumstances. Sources close to the President stated that he will leave Baabda to continue his political work alongside the Free Patriotic Movement.
