New Increase in Flood Victims in Europe

The death toll from storms and floods in Germany rose to at least 133 people on Saturday, according to a statement from local police, raising the total number of fatalities in Europe to 153. Police in Koblenz stated, "According to current information, 90 people have died in the disaster" in Rhineland-Palatinate, which is one of the most affected areas. Additionally, 43 people were reported dead in North Rhine-Westphalia, another German region hit by the storms, and another 20 fatalities occurred in Belgium.
