Dutch coach Ronald Koeman defended his team's performance this season, emphasizing that the Catalan club has not surrendered in the race for the La Liga title. Barcelona drew 3-3 with their host Levante last Tuesday, and with two rounds remaining in the season, they are four points behind leaders Atletico Madrid, knowing they will face Celta Vigo tomorrow, Sunday.
Barcelona initially led with two goals, but Levante managed to equalize at 2-2 and then secured a 3-3 draw just seven minutes before the end. Koeman stated, "We did not give up; we made an exciting comeback that cost us a lot of effort." He added, "Atletico and Real also dropped points. It is true that we missed a huge opportunity with our loss at home to Granada, 2-1 at the end of last month, but we are talking about one match."
He pointed out, "It is important to believe and continue. You try to win and have hope. Our chances of winning the title are slim, but there is still a chance, and we have to win our two matches." He explained, "In the last two weeks, I felt mistreated. We won the cup title and managed to recover from being 12 points behind." He concluded by saying, "Looking at the press in recent days, it hinted that we have done a very bad job, and I disagree with that."
