A statement from the Army Command - Directorate of Guidance stated: "On May 17, 2022, in the exhibition area of Tripoli, near the home of one of the region's deputies, gunfire was heard. As a result, a Range Rover without plates was stopped, and its occupants fled to an unknown location. Inside the vehicle, the following items were found: 4 Kalashnikov rifles, 1 laser scope, 4 magazine pouches, 2 hand grenades, a sum of money, and various ammunition. The seized items have been handed over, and efforts are ongoing to apprehend the vehicle's owner."
