Foreign Minister Abdallah Bou Habib stated that American Ambassador Dorothy Shea informed him of her protest regarding Hezbollah launching drones over the Karish field, noting there is an agreement not to escalate the situation during negotiations. He added via "Al-Jadid": "I met with the American ambassador, and she was optimistic about reaching an agreement on the maritime border demarcation." He concluded: "Negotiations on maritime border demarcation are at a very advanced stage, and I am becoming optimistic; in the next two months, the pathways will become clearer."
