Kuwait's Ambassador Bids Farewell to Drian: Standing Beside Lebanon in Its Distress

The Grand Mufti of the Lebanese Republic, Sheikh Abdul Latif Drian, received the Ambassador of the State of Kuwait in Lebanon, Abdul Aal Al-Qanai, during a farewell visit. They discussed ways to enhance bilateral relations between the two countries and the situation in Lebanon and the region. Ambassador Al-Qanai affirmed to Mufti Drian that "Kuwait stands by Lebanon during the hardship it is experiencing," wishing for "stability and prosperity for brotherly Lebanon and for its crises to be resolved." For his part, Mufti Drian expressed gratitude to "the State of Kuwait, its Emir, government, and people for their support of the Lebanese in various fields," and emphasized "the important leading role that the State of Kuwait plays in Lebanon and the Arab region."
