Kuwait is set to experience a severe cold wave lasting five days, starting next Tuesday and continuing until the following Saturday. According to the newspaper "Al-Qabas," meteorologist Abdulaziz Al-Qarawi stated that Kuwait will face temperatures dropping to zero in some areas. Al-Qarawi explained that this wave is due to "the arrival of a cold front, coinciding with noticeable activity of northwestern winds and the deepening of the atmospheric high-pressure system affecting northern Arabian Peninsula." The Kuwaiti meteorologist predicted that some areas in Kuwait could see temperatures reach zero, especially on Wednesday and Thursday, with a possibility of light rain occurring late on Monday and early on Tuesday. He mentioned, "The European high-pressure system affecting us extends from Eastern Europe to northern the Peninsula, and we expect moderate winter conditions to return by the middle of next week."
