Former Prime Minister Fouad Seniora hosted a delegation from the European Union election observation mission, led by Member of the European Parliament Jorge Holfini, in Bsalim. Seniora welcomed the members of the mission and emphasized "the importance of their role in monitoring the electoral process, ensuring its fairness and guaranteeing its neutrality."
Seniora explained to the delegation the nature of the electoral law currently in force in Lebanon and the factors surrounding the electoral process.
He expressed his full willingness to assist the mission in any way they require.
