The "Jewel" stadium hosted the match between Al-Ahly and their guest Al-Hilal in the conclusion of the 13th round of the Mohammed bin Salman League "Saudi Professional League". The match ended in a goalless draw between Al-Ahly and Al-Hilal.

Al-Ahly’s striker, Omar Al-Soma, missed a penalty for Al-Ahly in the ninth minute, which was successfully saved by Al-Hilal's goalkeeper Abdullah Al-Maiouf. Before the match, Omar Al-Soma received the award for Best Player in the Saudi League for December.

The most dangerous chance for Al-Hilal in the first half was a shot by Frenchman Bafetimbi Gomis, which was deflected off the Al-Ahly goalkeeper's hands and the post in the 27th minute. In the second half, both teams attempted to score, and in the closing minutes of the match, the crossbar denied a dangerous attempt from Al-Hilal.

It’s worth mentioning that with this result, Al-Hilal tops the Saudi league standings with 26 points, just one point ahead of second-placed Al-Shabab, while Al-Ahly is in third place with 23 points.
