Twitter has filed a lawsuit against American billionaire businessman Elon Musk for violating the $44 billion agreement to purchase the social media platform. Twitter requested a court in Delaware to order the world's richest person to complete the acquisition at the agreed price of $54.20 per share, according to the lawsuit. The lawsuit states, "After proposing an acquisition agreement... and then signing it, Musk seems to believe that unlike all other parties subject to Delaware contract law, he is free to change his mind, disrupt the company's operations, and destroy its stock value before walking away."
