Messi scored his team's fourth goal against Lorient, marking his first goal since February 6, in a match that ended with the Parisian giant winning 5-1, held at the "Parc des Princes".
This goal brought Messi's total to 3 goals in Ligue 1, having previously scored against Nantes and Lille. He also netted 5 goals for the Parisian team in the UEFA Champions League before their exit in the Round of 16 against Real Madrid.
It is noteworthy that Messi joined PSG at the beginning of the current season on a free transfer from Barcelona. He signed a contract for two seasons until the summer of 2023, with the option to extend for an additional season.
