Dangerous Indicator: "LADI" Reveals Observations and Violations!

The Lebanese Association for Democratic Elections "LADI" published a tweet detailing some observations and violations it has recorded up to this point during the voting day for polling staff. "LADI" noted that in most polling stations, the election committee removed the serial number from the official ballot papers, which jeopardizes the confidentiality of the vote. The association contacted the Ministry of Interior and emphasized the need for a circular to be issued regarding this matter. The Secretary-General of the Lebanese Association for Democratic Elections, Roni Al-Asaad, stated: "We observed a candidate in Akkar promoting himself inside a polling station, and some ballots were torn, allowing representatives to see the secret number." He added: "Many voting employees who will head the polling stations on Sunday lack awareness of the election process."
