The Lebanon U18 basketball team suffered its first defeat in the Asia Championship taking place in Iran, losing to Japan 63-84 in a match held on Monday afternoon as part of Group A of the continental tournament that qualifies for next year's World Championship. Lebanon began its campaign in the tournament with a victory over Iran, winning 65-63.
With this defeat, Lebanon concluded its group stage matches with one win and one loss, and now awaits the results of the other matches to determine which team they will face next.
They will also monitor the outcome of the upcoming match between Iran and Japan on Tuesday to know their ranking in the group.
