The Atlanta Hawks hosted the Boston Celtics in the NBA.

The Boston Celtics suffered their third consecutive defeat, losing 127-112 to the Atlanta Hawks. This marks the Celtics' ninth loss in 14 games in February, and they have one more match this month against the Indiana Pacers on Saturday. The Hawks led the first quarter 40-27, with 17 points from their star Trae Young.

In the second quarter, the Celtics started with 10 consecutive points, eight of which were scored by Danilo Gallinari, increasing the Hawks' lead to 23 points. The Atlanta Celtics struggled to stop the Hawks' offense, ending the second quarter with an additional 10-point lead, bringing the score to 72-49.

The Atlanta Celtics completely surrendered in the second half, with the margin not decreasing to less than 15 points until the end of the game. This loss marked the Celtics' 17th in 32 games, dropping them to seventh place in the Eastern Conference after being among the top three at the start of the season.

Gallinari led the Atlanta Hawks with 38 points, followed by Young with 33 points. Jaylen Brown was the top scorer for the Boston Celtics with only 17 points. Notably, the Atlanta Hawks currently sit in 11th place in the East with 14 wins and 18 losses.
