Al-Kadhimi Calls for a Second Round of "National Dialogue"

Iraqi Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kadhimi has invited the heads of political blocs in parliament to hold a second round of "national dialogue" next Monday. On August 16, Al-Kadhimi called political leaders to a "national meeting" at the government palace in Baghdad to start a "serious national dialogue" aimed at finding solutions to the political crisis in the country. At the beginning of the meetings, the Sadrist movement announced its "non-participation in the political dialogue meeting" called by Al-Kadhimi.
