Abu Dhabi Market Records Highest Close in Its History

The Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange index recorded its highest close ever at the start of the week on Monday, surpassing the 9000-point mark for the first time. The index closed at 9105 points, up approximately 1.2% from the previous session. Trading volumes reached 241,515,722 shares, with a total trading value of 1,380,720,256 dirhams, across a total of 8170 transactions. Shares of "Aldar Properties" were the most traded in terms of volume and value, with the stock increasing by 1.2% to 4.2 dirhams. The biggest gainer of the day was "Food" stock, achieving a rise of about 14.5%. Meanwhile, the biggest losers were shares of "Gulf Medical Projects" and "Dar Al Tamweel," both losing 10%.
