The United Arab Emirates strongly condemned and denounced the attempts by the Iran-backed Houthi terrorist militias to target civilians and civilian objects in a systematic and deliberate manner in the city of Najran in the sisterly Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, using a ballistic missile and two explosive-laden drones that were intercepted by coalition forces.
The UAE confirmed in a statement issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation that the continuation of these terrorist attacks by the Houthi group reflects its blatant challenge to the international community and its disregard for all international laws and norms.
The ministry urged the international community to take an immediate and decisive stance to stop these repeated acts that target vital and civilian facilities, the security of the Kingdom, energy supplies, and global economic stability. The statement emphasized that the recent continuation of these attacks is a serious escalation and a new indication of the efforts by these militias to undermine security and stability in the region.
The ministry reiterated the UAE's complete solidarity with the Kingdom in the face of these terrorist attacks and its support in every action taken to preserve its security and the safety of its citizens and residents. The statement affirmed that the security of the United Arab Emirates and the security of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia are indivisible, and any threat or danger facing the Kingdom is considered a threat to the security and stability of the UAE.
