Stalemate Between Aoun and Mikati!

Member of the "Strong Lebanon" bloc, MP Alan Aoun, indicated that "negotiations are stalled between Presidents Michel Aoun and Najib Mikati because there is no new proposal submitted by Mikati, who is assigned the task of reviewing names and presenting formulas for the President to discuss." In an interview with the electronic newspaper "Al-Anbaa," Aoun pointed out that "the previous cabinet lacked balance, according to the President's perspective, and the latter has given Mikati suggestions that the designated Prime Minister has not yet responded to." Regarding his expectations for forming a government in the short term and the shape of the government, Aoun ruled out the possibility of formation "in the near future, and the period may extend until the end of the term, as matters are difficult, but nothing is certain, and at a certain moment this government may come into being. I expect it to resemble the current government's balances, if it is formed."
