Ronaldo and Manchester City: Details of the

Days before the end of the summer transfer market, football fans around the world are eagerly anticipating a sensational deal that could see Portuguese star Cristiano Ronaldo move from Italian club Juventus to English club Manchester City. According to the Spanish sports newspaper "AS," the Sky Blues have made an official offer to Juventus to acquire the "Madeiran Rocket" with a two-season contract at an annual salary of 15 million euros after taxes.

The newspaper also indicates that Juventus is asking for between 25 to 30 million euros for the departure of 36-year-old Ronaldo, whose contract with the club expires next summer, or they may want to obtain Brazilian striker Gabriel Jesus in a swap deal with the Premier League champions.

According to the Italian newspaper "La Gazzetta dello Sport," Ronaldo's agent Jorge Mendes has arrived in Turin to speak personally with the Portuguese football legend to find a suitable solution for all parties involved. If the deal is successful, Ronaldo will return to Manchester, but wearing different colors after his standout years with Manchester United (2003-2009).

The story of the deal originates from a series of events during the current transfer season, starting with the player's desire to leave "The Old Lady" following the team's disappointing performance last season. Potential destinations included Paris Saint-Germain, Manchester United, or Real Madrid.

During that time, Spanish newspapers reported Ronaldo's desire to return to Real Madrid, especially with Carlo Ancelotti taking charge of the Spanish team. However, the club was fully focusing its efforts and funds on signing French star Kylian Mbappe, a deal that has not yet materialized.

On another front, the British newspaper "Daily Mirror" explained that Paris Saint-Germain hopes to acquire Ronaldo next season after his contract with Juventus ends, aiming to fulfill football fans' dream of seeing Ronaldo and his longstanding rival Lionel Messi in the same team. However, it seems the Portuguese star wanted to leave the Italian club during the current transfer season.

Up until that point in the events, no reports had indicated that Ronaldo might move to Manchester City. The Sky Blues' primary target was Tottenham Hotspur's Harry Kane, with reports confirming the club made a record offer of 150 million euros. However, Kane's official announcement of his decision to stay with his London team led City to consider signing Ronaldo, with the aim of completing the deal quickly before the transfer window closes.
