Ukraine Demands More Weapons

Ukrainian Defense Minister Oleksii Reznikov acknowledged severe losses and the depletion of the Ukrainian army, calling on his Western partners for more weapons. He stated that his country successfully used long-range U.S. rocket launchers recently delivered to Kyiv, according to comments reported by the American newspaper "Wall Street Journal." Reznikov added: "We need to develop our units, replace them, and adjust them because we have severe losses. We want more armored vehicles and more weapons from our partners. We need to reorganize our ranks in some areas, update fortifications, and plan a new operational strategy." Concurrently, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky stated that a rescue operation for civilians in the city of Chasiv Yar is still ongoing following a Russian bombing of two residential buildings in the city located in the Donetsk region of eastern Ukraine, noting that 15 people have been killed in the preliminary toll.
