Portuguese star Cristiano Ronaldo received a shock during his summer vacation after a disappointing season with his English club Manchester United, as his "Bugatti Veyron" was involved in an accident in the Spanish city of Mallorca. The British newspaper "The Sun" reported that the police are investigating the accident through their traffic department, as the incident resulted in damage to Ronaldo's "Bugatti Veyron," valued at around £1.7 million, or about €2 million, making it the third most expensive car owned by the Portuguese star after the Bugatti Centodieci (£8.5 million) and Bugatti Chiron (£2.15 million).
The driver of the car, who is said not to be Ronaldo, lost control and slid into a wall in the Bonanova area, in Palma de Mallorca, where the Manchester United star is currently spending his vacation with his family. Reports indicate that the front of the "Bugatti" was destroyed, with investigators trying to determine whether another vehicle was involved in the incident. According to "The Sun," the accident is currently under investigation by the police's traffic department after the car crashed into the door of a rural house, which was completely destroyed, near the Juan March Hospital. Cristiano Ronaldo was not present in the vehicle, as he is currently enjoying his holiday on the island of Mallorca with his family.
