The city of Los Angeles witnessed a "horrific crime" when a 38-year-old mother, Angela Dawn Flores, killed three of her children for a strange reason. According to the British newspaper "Daily Mail," the story began when someone contacted law enforcement to report that their neighbor, Angela Dawn Flores, entered their home last Sunday around 1 AM, carrying a Bible and a candle. The police arrived at the scene, and Flores was taken to the hospital for necessary medical care, without any suspicion of wrongdoing.
However, around 8 AM, Los Angeles police responded to a report about an armed person in Flores' home, which turned out to be her 16-year-old son. Upon arriving, police discovered the bodies of Angela's three children: Natalie (12 years old), Kevin (10 years old), and Nathan (8 years old). The mother confessed in court on Wednesday to killing her three children, indicating that her fourth son assisted her in this, a claim that he denies.
She stated that she committed the act because she "believed her three children were possessed by demons." Her ex-husband, Jacob, told the "Los Angeles Times" that she contacted him a week prior and began talking to him about religion, adding, "She was telling me things about God... I really don’t know what happened because she was never religious." Angela Dawn Flores' next hearing is scheduled for August, while the teenager will appear in juvenile court on May 25.
