Al-Bukhari: The Kingdom is Keen on Lebanon's Continuity and Revival

The head of the Bar Association in Beirut, Nader Kessab, accompanied by members of the Syndicate Council, visited Saudi Ambassador Walid Al-Bukhari at his residence in Al-Yarzah. The delegation included Secretary General Saad Al-Din Al-Khatib, Justice Palace Commissioner Imad Martinos, Abdo Lahoud, Iskandar Najar, Maya Zghrine, head of the Arab Relations Committee lawyer Suha Al-Assaad, and lawyer Doreen Qabbani.

A statement from the Syndicate noted that "Ambassador Al-Bukhari expressed his pleasure with the pioneering role played by the Bar Association during these difficult circumstances and its refusal to succumb to despair. He emphasized the role of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in standing by Lebanon and its people, especially in economic, health, and educational development projects. He also reiterated that reviving Lebanon requires a revival plan, stressing the importance of Lebanese resilience and self-reliance, ensuring that no entity dominates another, while also relying on thought and reason, as these two principles are very important.

He pointed out that there are cooperation agreements between the Kingdom and Lebanon, indicating the level of trust in this beautiful country, affirming that the Kingdom is keen on its continuity and revival to remain the unique beautiful oasis in the East."

The statement mentioned that "Kessab emphasized that Lebanon is resilient in the face of all adversities, and its people are strong and do not despair, despite the aftermath of the port explosion, the confiscation of depositors' funds, and the strikes and sit-ins. However, the health and educational sectors, as well as the army and judiciary, must be preserved, warning of the migration of its children to America, Canada, Australia, Venezuela, and Argentina, which has become a danger due to the security, economic, financial, and social conditions.

Council members and professors Al-Assaad and Qabbani contributed valuable interventions regarding the general situation and the social and financial conditions of citizens struggling to live with dignity, calling for the election of a new president to avoid entering a state of vacuum. At the end of the meeting, Ambassador Al-Bukhari presented Kessab with a medal from the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdulaziz Al Saud.
