A TikTok user revealed her profound disappointment after her boyfriend left her, even though she donated one of her kidneys to save his life. Colin Lou (30) stated that she offered her ex-boyfriend one of her kidneys because he had been struggling with chronic kidney disease since his teenage years. At just 17 years old, the young man, whose name has not been disclosed, had to undergo dialysis treatment and told her that his kidney was functioning at less than five percent of its capacity.
Colin, from the United States, decided to donate after tests showed that their tissues matched, and both of them fully recovered after a successful operation. However, just ten months later, the young man ended their relationship, accusing her of going through with the transplant to appear worthy of him. Colin shared in one of her videos, "I decided to get tested to see if we matched because I didn't want to watch him die. I was extremely nervous."
In another clip, Colin explained that her relationship with her boyfriend changed seven months after the surgery, and she was shocked when he returned home from a trip and confessed to cheating on her during the journey, according to the British newspaper Mirror. After another three months, the young man ended the relationship. Colin said he blocked her on all social media platforms, and she is now sharing her sad story on TikTok.
