The UAE as a Gateway for Global Companies to Arab Markets

The Austrian online site "Findubona" has described the UAE as a highly sought-after destination for global companies wishing to enter Arab markets. "Findubona" published a report on the attractiveness of the UAE for global companies, particularly Austrian firms, coinciding with the upcoming "Expo 2020 Dubai."

The report noted that when dealing with global "Expo" fairs, the world tends not only to focus on the event as a global exhibition but also pays attention to the host country, highlighting all aspects related to it, including its economy and culture. This is applicable to "Expo 2020 Dubai," which is expected to enhance the interest of global companies in the UAE.

The report explained that global companies are already interested in the UAE and are looking to invest there, as the country is the main gateway to the Arab market. Furthermore, it added that the UAE has strengthened this position and demonstrated its worth, being regarded as the main commercial hub in the Middle East, as well as the primary connection point between the Arab world, Asia, and Africa.

The report also touched on the specific interest of Austrian companies in investing in the UAE. It confirmed that economic relations between the UAE and Austria are strong, and "Expo 2020 Dubai" is expected to enhance these relations, as more Austrian companies seek to benefit from the anticipated event to find investment opportunities in Dubai or in the UAE as a whole.

The report indicated that there are currently 150 Austrian companies represented in the UAE, either through subsidiaries or branches, in addition to several hundred other Austrian companies operating in the UAE through agents or importers.
