The Meteorological Department of the Civil Aviation Authority anticipates that the weather tomorrow will be partly cloudy in the morning with little change in temperatures along the coast, while temperatures will rise in the mountains and inland areas. It will become partially cloudy starting in the afternoon with the formation of local fog in the highlands.
The bulletin states the following:
- General Situation: Normal summer weather dominates the eastern Mediterranean basin, with temperatures below their seasonal averages on the coast until Tuesday, when the inland areas will be affected by relatively warm air masses leading to a noticeable increase in temperatures. (The average temperature for August on the coast ranges between 25 and 33 degrees).
- Expected Weather in Lebanon:
- Sunday: Partly cloudy with no significant change in temperatures, which will remain below their seasonal averages on the coast. It will become cloudy starting in the afternoon with local fog particularly in the southern highlands, and winds may become occasionally active.
- Monday: Partly cloudy in the morning with no significant change in temperatures on the coast, while there will be an increase in the mountains and inland areas. It will become partially cloudy starting in the afternoon with local fog in the highlands.
- Tuesday: Partly cloudy during the morning with no significant change in temperatures on the coast and a noticeable increase in the interior regions. It will turn partially cloudy in the afternoon with fog on the highlands.
- Wednesday: Partly cloudy with continued rising temperatures, especially in the mountains and inland, turning to partially cloudy starting in the afternoon with local fog in the highlands.
- Expected Temperatures: On the coast, from 25 to 31 degrees; in the mountains, from 15 to 25 degrees; inland, from 16 to 32 degrees.
- Surface Winds: Southwesterly during the day occasionally active, southeasterly at night, with speeds between 10 and 35 km/h.
- Visibility: Good on the coast, occasionally deteriorating in the highlands due to fog.
- Relative Humidity on the Coast: Between 55% and 75%.
