Hochstein in Beirut on Thursday... Will He Bring a Final Israeli Response?

The American mediator in the maritime border demarcation talks between Lebanon and Israel, Amos Hochstein, will arrive in Beirut next Thursday evening to resume discussions with the Lebanese side, according to a Lebanese official source reported by "Sputnik" today, Monday. The source explained that "the responses Hochstein carries to the Lebanese officials indicate that there is still no final Israeli answer, and that there are one or two outstanding points for which Tel Aviv has requested clarifications before providing a final official response." The source concluded that Hochstein "will request an additional extension until the end of this month."
