Former U.S. President Donald Trump confirmed that he would return to the White House somehow.

He mentioned that his administration enacted the largest tax reforms in the U.S., wishing that the Biden administration would not impose high taxes again. He stated, "We achieved a medical miracle by developing a vaccine against the coronavirus in just 9 months," asserting that any other administration would have taken 10 years to produce it.
He expressed his hope that the new administration would achieve all the luck and success, saying, "I believe they will achieve great success after we put them in a good position despite the COVID-19 pandemic." Trump spoke about what he considered the achievements of his administration, saying, "We started a new dawn in the Middle East, and our troops are coming home," referring to the reduction of American forces to the lowest level in Syria and Iraq in years.
Trump mentioned that what NATO member countries pay to fund the alliance increased after he took office, stating, "NATO countries pay $10 billion compared to what they paid when I arrived."
In commenting on the events of the Capitol breach about two weeks ago, Trump said, "Everyone was horrified by what happened at the Capitol."
President Trump announced that he would not attend Joe Biden's inauguration on Wednesday, January 20, to which Biden responded that this was "a good thing," indicating that ignoring the tradition of the outgoing president's attendance was "one of the very few things he agreed with him on."
