Saudi Arabia Lists 5 Individuals as Terrorists

The Presidency of State Security in Saudi Arabia announced the addition of the names of five Yemenis to its terrorism list due to their connections to activities supporting the "Houthi" Ansar Allah group in Sana'a. The list published by the Presidency of State Security through its Twitter page includes "Mansour Ahmed Al-Saadi," who is involved in smuggling Iranian weapons to Yemen and has previously received intensive training in Iran; he is considered the mastermind behind attacks on international shipments in the Red Sea. The list also includes four other individuals linked to the ballistic missile and drone programs of the Ansar Allah group: "Ahmed Ali Al-Hamzi," "Mohammed Abdul Karim Al-Ghamari," "Zakariya Abdullah Yahya Hajar," and "Ahmed Mohammed Ali Al-Johari." The presidency noted that "the classification targets anyone who provides support to terrorists or terrorist acts," calling for "the freezing of all assets belonging to the individuals listed in this statement within the Kingdom, and prohibiting any direct or indirect dealings with these names or for their benefit, by financial institutions and specified non-financial professions and businesses, as well as all legal and natural persons."
