Israeli Prime Minister Naftali Bennett affirmed on Monday that the Abraham Accord has established a new, deep, and solid foundation for diplomatic, economic, and cultural relations in the region, noting that the relationships are based on cooperation that achieves prosperity for the communities involved. In a special interview with the Emirates News Agency (WAM), Bennett stated, "As governments in Israel and the UAE, we are working to build cooperation that brings prosperity to the peoples of the region."

He added, "In my opinion, this is the peace and the new reality that this region is witnessing. We are working together to ensure a better future for our children." Regarding the implications of the Abraham Accord between the UAE and Israel for fostering growth and economic partnership between the two countries, Bennett said, "The relationship between the two states has strengthened in all areas, and I am very pleased about that as many cooperation agreements have been signed in trade, research and development, health, education, aviation, and more. I look forward to the continued development and solidification of these relations."

Regarding the UAE's efforts to enhance international cooperation to tackle common challenges, he emphasized that the values of tolerance, peace, and dialogue are shared, which is why the friendship that binds us has developed so rapidly. Bennett stated, "The relationship between us and the UAE encompasses every possible field," pointing out that government ministries in both countries work together, as do many companies and businessmen, with delegations from both sides making reciprocal visits.

He added, "I expect our relations to remain strong, especially in the economic field. In my opinion, cooperation in health and food security will form a major part of our collaboration." Concerning the volume of trade between the UAE and Israel, Bennett noted, "The volume of trade between us has rapidly increased over a matter of months, and we consider the latent potential within it to be limitless. Israel, like the UAE, is a regional trade hub, and the combination between us offers unprecedented economic opportunities not just for us, but for many other countries as well, which is another factor in promoting stability and prosperity in this region."

On Israel's participation in Expo 2020 Dubai, Bennett said, "The Israeli pavilion at Expo 2020 Dubai embodies an optimistic outlook for tomorrow and an unceasing quest to make it better, not just for us, but for our friends and allies around the world in all fields."
