UN: We are working to remove barriers to food exports from Russia

The Office of the Secretary-General of the United Nations announced that the organization is making efforts to remove barriers to the export of Russian food and fertilizers, noting the difficulties arising from sanctions. Secretary-General spokesman Stéphane Dujarric commented on the challenges that have emerged in global markets: "We are working hard as it is extremely important for the flow of Russian fertilizers and food to return to the markets." He pointed out that sanctions did not include Russian food and fertilizers, but the situation is difficult due to the overall sanctions regime, which creates challenges for the sector. Therefore, we are trying to overcome all difficulties and get out of the bottleneck.
