The Minister of Energy and Water, Dr. Walid Fiad, met with the Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources, Engineer Tarek El Molla. During the meeting, it was confirmed that Egypt is committed and ready to immediately supply natural gas to Lebanon once the procedures related to the start of exporting Egyptian gas and receiving it in Lebanese territory are completed.
Engineer Tarek El Molla affirmed Egypt's continuous readiness to provide all forms of support, assistance, and expertise to the Lebanese brothers in various petroleum activities, highlighting the strong relations that bind the two countries and the ongoing political leadership support for relations with brotherly Lebanon.
For his part, Fiad expressed his gratitude and appreciation to the Egyptian state, both leadership and people, for their unwavering support of Lebanon, especially during this important phase.
Dr. Magdy Galal, president of the Egyptian Natural Gas Holding Company, attended the meeting.
