The United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees announced that more than 7.8 million Ukrainian refugees have arrived in European countries since the start of the Russian military operation. It was reported that from February 24 to December 20, 2022, 7,863,339 refugees from Ukraine reached European countries. It was noted that 16,595,007 people left Ukraine, of whom 8,711,402 have returned to their country.
