A new queen was elected a few hours ago to represent the United States in upcoming international competitions, specifically in Miss Universe 2022. Rabuni Gabriel, 28 years old, won the title; she is a fashion designer who works in her profession and owns her own brand. She is the first winner of the title with Filipino roots. Morgan Romano was the first runner-up, while contestant Natalie Pieper took third place. This is the first time Texas has won the title of Miss USA in 13 years.
