Lebanon's Prime Minister Najib Mikati arrived in Britain to represent Lebanon tomorrow at the funeral of Queen Elizabeth II. Prime Minister Mikati and his wife Mrs. May, along with many heads of state and government, paid their respects to the queen's coffin this afternoon at Westminster Hall. The Prime Minister also recorded the following message in the condolences book: "On behalf of myself and the Lebanese people, and with millions around the world, we honor the memory of Queen Elizabeth II, who was a symbol of loyalty and national commitment for the United Kingdom. We express our sincere condolences to His Majesty King Charles III, to Her Majesty the Queen, and to all members of the royal family." This evening, Prime Minister Mikati and his wife participated in the official reception hosted by King Charles III at Buckingham Palace.
