According to the Islamic Republic News Agency, an Iranian court has sentenced two men to death in connection with an attack on a Shia shrine in the country that resulted in the deaths of 15 people on October 15. The attack was claimed by the Islamic State (ISIS). The agency quoted Kazem Mousavi, the prosecutor in Fars Province, stating that the men were convicted of charges including "spreading corruption on earth" and harming national security, adding that the death sentences are subject to appeal.
