The head of the teachers' syndicate in private schools, Ni'mah Mahfoud, confirmed, "We are unable to go to schools." After meeting with the Minister of Education in the caretaker government, Abbas Halbi, Mahfoud announced "the strike in private schools starting tomorrow, Tuesday." Mahfoud stated, "We will meet tomorrow to assess the situation of private schools and decide whether the strike will continue."
