Tunisia: Annual Inflation Rate Rises to 10.4%

The National Institute of Statistics indicated today, Sunday, that the annual inflation rate in Tunisia increased from 10.2% in January to 10.4% in February, reaching its highest level in three decades. The Central Bank of Tunisia raised the main interest rate by 75 basis points in December, from 7.25% to 8%, to combat high inflation.
