Barcelona Wins Super Cup by Defeating Real Madrid 3-1

Barcelona was crowned the champion of the Spanish Super Cup in football after defeating their traditional rival Real Madrid 3-1 at King Fahd Stadium in Riyadh. This title is the first for the Catalan club since their former star Xavi took over as coach. Young midfielder Gavi emerged as the star of the match by opening the scoring after 33 minutes, and he played a key role in the second and third goals scored by Polish player Robert Lewandowski (45) and Pedri (69). Real Madrid responded with a consolation goal by their French striker Karim Benzema in the 90+3 minute.
