Dozens of supporters of former Pakistani Prime Minister Imran Khan fortified his home today, Friday, to protect him as Khan awaits the ruling on a court case that could allow security forces to begin the process of arresting him for missing a court session. Fouad Chaudhry, one of Khan's aides, stated, "The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf party has filed another petition today, Friday, with the Supreme Court in Islamabad to suspend the arrest warrant after a lower court rejected a similar petition a day earlier." He added, "Our supporters are outside Imran Khan's house, but I don't think things will escalate too far."
