Sila: A Trained Dog Rescues 12 People in Turkey Earthquake

The trained dog "Sila" contributed to the rescue of 12 people from under the rubble in the Turkish province of Malatya. The Turkish Ministry of Defense stated that "Sila" is a trained dog belonging to the natural disaster rescue battalion, confirming that "Sila" found 12 people under the rubble during search and rescue operations in Malatya and helped bring them out. "Sila" sustained injuries to her paws due to shards of glass and scattered metals and received treatment from volunteer veterinarians, while continuing to participate in search and rescue efforts despite her injuries.
