A pair of "Levis's" jeans, discovered in an abandoned mine and dating back to the 1880s, was sold at public auction for an astronomical figure exceeding $78,000. Michael Harris, who describes himself as someone knowledgeable about denim history, found the jeans in an abandoned mine in the American West. The buyer, Zeb Stevenson, stated that "discovering this type of jeans is rare, especially since they are in relatively good condition." Stevenson noted that "Harris, who discovered the jeans, searched over 50 abandoned mines for five years before finding this 'treasure'."
