The film "His Only Son," starring Lebanese actor Nicola Maawad, has achieved record numbers in crowdfunding after attracting a large number of investors. The film, which tells the story of the prophet Abraham, has received "extensive coverage," as it will be shown in over 2,000 theaters in the United States starting March 31 and will be released in all theaters in Lebanon on April 6, coinciding with Easter. Maawad was chosen to play the role of prophet Abraham from among thousands of global actors who auditioned for the role. International Iranian actress Sarah Syed stars alongside him. The website "Fox News" explained that the film is "biblically accurate" and is based on the story of the prophet Abraham and prophet Isaac.
