The Athletics Integrity Unit announced today, Wednesday, that it has temporarily suspended Kenyan long-distance runner Ronx Kipruto, the world record holder in the 10-kilometer race, for violating doping regulations. They confirmed that Kipruto was suspended for using a prohibited substance, noting that he has been informed of the charges against him. Kipruto set the world record for the 10-kilometer road race in 2020.
