Death of 22 in Cholera Outbreak in Syria Following Earthquake

The Syrian Civil Defense reported that 22 people have died in a cholera outbreak following the earthquake in the northwest, which also affected Turkey. The Civil Defense, known as the "White Helmets," stated that "there are 568 cholera cases due to the destruction of infrastructure and water and sewage lines after the earthquake." The White Helmets are the main relief organization in the border region most affected by the earthquake in Syria.
